20 years in transport before Welbex.
A graduate of EDC Paris Business School, Éric Lamoral spent twenty years in freight transport, in sales management and site management roles, with the largest international groups: GLS, Graveleau Dachser, Mory, DHL.
In 2014, he put that experience to work in a trade he knows from the inside: delivering fragile products, at the right temperature and at the agreed time. That is how Welbex was born — big-group logistics, at the scale of a fine food house.
Twelve years, step by step.
- 2014
Éric Lamoral founds Welbex, holding all its transport licences from day one. He launches a maxi-scooter delivery service fitted with the largest top box on the market: the Welbox, a 200-litre insulated box.
- 2015
Welbex becomes a leading provider of high-end food delivery in Paris.
- 2016
First electric scooters in Paris, and the start of a fleet of refrigerated trucks.
- 2019
Registration as a freight forwarder: Welbex can organise transport beyond its own fleet.
- 2024
More than ten Welbex refrigerated trucks on the road for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
- 2026
A refrigerated HGV for events of more than 3,000 people, and polling station meals for the municipal elections.
